At All Pro Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical, we’re always eager to give back. We know we wouldn’t be able to do what we do today without the support and continual trust of our community, and we’re always happy to have the opportunity to support our community in return. One of the biggest problems facing our community, both locally and around the world, is breast cancer, and this is a cause that many in our company are passionate about.
This weekend, we’ll put that passion to work as we take part in Making Strides of the Inland Empire Presented by San Antonio Regional Hospital! The event is organized by the American Cancer Society and seeks to raise funds to help with research and development for the cure for the scourge that is breast cancer. Our team members have been raising money for this cause for some time, and several have raised well in excess of $250 each to donate to the cause!
This Saturday, our team will be at the Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter for the event, which includes a charity walk in support of breast cancer research. The event will feature appearances from breast cancer survivors, information about breast cancer awareness and research efforts, and so much more.
Our team will be out in force at this event, representing our name and our passion for this worthy cause. In fact, we’ve been working hard at gathering donations for weeks—we’ve held bake sales, car washes, and other events in support of fundraising, and we’ve also reached out to family, friends, and others in hopes that they’d join our cause and help us make a difference in the fight for the cure. We’ve even been active on social media, and spread the word through Facebook and Twitter in hopes of reaching friends from afar.
Our efforts have not been in vain either; we’re currently the number six team in the event out of 105! We’ve already surpassed our initial fundraising goal of $1,000, and are pushing ever closer to $1,500 with just one day left!
How You Can Get Involved
If you want to get involved and support our fundraising for the event this weekend, there are several ways you can do so. You can make a donation online to any one of our team members, all of whom are listed on our team page on our website. If you have a family member or friend on our team, donating to them is a great way to show them you support their involvement.
We’re also looking for people to join us this weekend in our walk! If you’re going to be at the event, or are planning on attending, we’d love for you to join our team and walk with us for this great cause. You can register as a member of our team ahead of time on our team’s website. Registration for the event begins at 7:00am on Saturday and the walk itself begins at 8:30.
